Nicole Antonio-Gadsdon (MCIPD), Principal Consultant of Aquarius Human Resources Consulting Ltd has over 8 years experience as a senior Human Resources Practitioner and Consultant in the United Kingdom and Antigua. Nicole is a specialist in translating internationally recognised best practice principles and standards into relevant and practical solutions for businesses operating in the Caribbean .
Nicole held the post of Human Resources Director for two hotels in Antigua, Carlisle Bay and Jolly Beach Resort. In both properties Nicole was responsible for formulating people strategies and implementing human resources systems and processes and establishing the hotels’ corporate social responsibility programme.
Three years as a Financial Advisor/Bank Manager in the retail banking network of Abbey National (a top 5 retail bank in the UK ) has given Nicole valuable hands-on operational management experience.
Working for 2 years as a consultant for Barkers, a human resources solutions and communications company based in the UK, Nicole has successfully delivered national and global employee communications and human resources projects for primary client companies such as McDonalds, Microsoft UK, Pfizer, Credit Suisse First Boston and Sainsbury's.
Nicole has provided human resources consulting services to the Labour Department, Pegasus Technologies Inc., the Office of National Drug & Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) and the ABIB Career Affair in Antigua.
Nicole completed her postgraduate studies in Human Resources at Middlesex University Business School, UK and was awarded membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (MCIPD). Nicole also holds a degree in German and International Studies (B.A. Hons) from the University of Warwick, UK.
